Support Green Party Candidate Cheryl Wolfe in HD 11
Submitted by Steve Kelly on 11 October 2010 - 2:06pm. 2010 election | Cheryl Wolfe | green party | greensSince the 2000 election, Greens have been working to regain some of the momentum and public support from that historic event in American politics.
In Montana a core group of activists have had their hands full simply maintaining the most rudimentary elements of a Green political party. Some great people remained on board, some have moved on, or away from politics altogether. Losses have been replaced with a new group of Greens with new ideas for how to put Montana on a better path than the one we're on.

If water were a globally traded commodity, with unmet demand in China and India reflected in its price, the world might shed its newfound craze for biofuels.
It is bad enough that some of us need ethanol distilled in Scotland to lubricate our evenings. Growing corn to make ethanol to run sport-utility vehicles is downright silly; nowhere more so than in China and India.

Max Baucus's 2008 reelection campaign. Whether Max is walking, or flying in a corporate jet, around Montana this time, he will be packing more cash than accomplishments that mean real improvement in the lives of everyday Montanans. He will again raise millions. He will again be one of the top PAC recipients in Congress. The fundraising letter, signed by Governor Schweitzer and Sen. Jon Tester, did not mention the wars in Afghanistan or Iraq -- or Columbia, Somalia or Palestine.
