to be independent is to question the message

When are at least a few people in this country going to figure out that there is more difference between a glass of Miller Lite and a glass of Bud Lite than there is between a Democrat Politician and a Republican Politician?

Money doesn't just rule politicians, it controls the public. All political movements with any punch have major funding from extremely wealthy power brokers. The latest, the TeaBaggers, are a classic example. All the so-called progressive groups have big bucks behind them that -as far as I can tell- comes from vested interests.

The message somehow needs to be that to be independent is to question the message. Question my message. Then question the so-called progressive groups like Move-On and many others that support very conservative Dems with flowery language and dis the few progressive Dem politicians out there.

The greatest success we could have in this country would be a "None of the Above" line on a ballot. If this line got the votes, the slot would be empty until the next election. A vote of no confidence in the two-parties-that-are-the-same system. We need a positive message, not a negative one. I will deliver a beer, a real beer, to the person who comes up with the winning positive message. But it cannot be verbose or have multitudinous pluralificative descriptors as the dumbed down public has to understand it. I will select a non-partisan committee to judge them. (maybe two beers, crafted in Montana of course.) Restrictions apply, and timeframe is openish.

There are ten of these articles for every one of a politician actually doing something right or good or honest. And yet most of the people who read this article, and many dozens of others about the Administration, will still vote for O'Bummer over the Repub in two years. Why?
